PETER PARIZHSKY
Tenth-grade student, founder, and developer based in New York City.
Building things that matter.
I'm Peter Parizhsky, a 10th grader in New York City. I founded Tech-Savvies, a web development and IT support company, in 2020. I was ten, motivated by curiosity and a drive to build. What began as experimentation grew into a working practice: websites for local businesses, IT support engagements, and steady lessons from every project. I continue to lead the company today.
- —Technology & Building: I enjoy building websites and studying how software works at a deeper technical level. The work is most rewarding when something I have built is in active use.
- —Gaming: Strategy games are a long-standing interest; they sharpen how I reason about systems and tradeoffs, and I enjoy them on their own merits.
- —Writing & Reading: I read widely across fiction and technical writing. Writing itself is a craft I have worked to develop deliberately, and one I continue to refine.
- —Community & Volunteering: I lead a student club and contribute regularly to volunteer work, motivated by a commitment to meaningful service beyond the classroom.
I plan to study business or hospitality in college and to continue building — whether through Tech-Savvies or a new venture. The exact path remains open, but the direction is clear.
I grew up in New York City. Living here means being surrounded by people whose backgrounds differ sharply from one's own, and that perspective has shaped how I see the world. It is a core reason I co-founded Tastes of Home.
